Two RV sites and tent camping are available, in conjunction with the cabin, to accommodate additional family or friends; however, Huzzah Haven rents to only one couple/group at a time to preserve a private setting. Swim, fish, canoe, hike, bike, ATV, hunt, take day trips or just relax. The Steelville area is a wonderful choice for a family vacation. Huzzah Haven also makes an excellent destination as a fishing or hunting cabin.

The cabin at Huzzah Haven is located only 300 ft from crystal clear Huzzah Creek. While sometimes referred to as Huzzah River, the stream definitely has the intimate feel of a creek. Pick your favorite spot on our 1,000 ft gravel bar. Cast your fishing lure into a clear pool. Relax under the stars and gaze at the Milky Way while sitting around a campfire. Listen to the sounds of nature and the whippoorwills, frogs, and occasional owl.

Our vacation cabin was opened to the public in fall of 2010. It is a two bedroom, one bath cabin with a fully equipped kitchen, new heating/ cooling system, and large screened porch. The kitchen includes a stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, blender, and coffeemaker. Two RV sites and tent camping are available near the cabin to accommodate additional family and friends.

where numerous cabins, campsites, and people are as congested as the big city, or ‘stacked like cordwood’ as folks from the Ozarks might say. Huzzah Haven is next to 600 acres of the Mark Twain National Forest. Nearby are excellent locations to hunt, hike, bike, and ATV ride on the miles and miles of backwoods gravel roads and forest roads.

Reasonable rates with extras at no extra charge
The cabin at Huzzah Haven has rates that include extras at no extra charge. Some resorts expect you to bring your own pots, pans, and dishes or charge an additional fee for providing linens and towels. But at Huzzah Haven, there is no extra charge for these items. Plus we also provide a propane bbq grill, box of campfire wood, light breakfast for each day of your stay, and free wifi internet service.
